About the Journal

The primary aim of the Journal of Novel Research in Education (JNR) is to advance research methodology in the social sciences and education by publishing studies that contribute conceptual, analytical, or methodological innovations applicable across disciplines.

JNR prioritises work that strengthens how research is designed, conducted, analysed, and interpreted, rather than studies focused only on subject-specific findings. The journal encourages scholarship that refines research methods, introduces new analytical frameworks, improves measurement and validation practices, and critically examines methodological assumptions in social and educational research.

In particular, the journal aims to:

• Promote methodological innovation and refinement, including research design, data collection, analysis, measurement, validation, and evaluation techniques.

• Encourage conceptual and analytical contributions that enhance methodological thinking across social science and educational contexts.

• Support quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, systematic reviews, scale development, validation studies, and methodological critiques with cross-disciplinary relevance.

• Foster ethically grounded and transparent research practices, including responsible use and disclosure of AI-assisted tools.

• Provide an open-access platform that enables wide dissemination of methodological knowledge, especially research relevant to Global South contexts while meeting international scholarly standards.
