Abstracting and Indexing : The Journal of Novel Research is committed to enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and discoverability of its published content. The journal follows internationally recognized metadata standards to support indexing and retrieval through academic search engines and scholarly databases. As the journal develops, applications will be submitted to appropriate abstracting and indexing services in accordance with their evaluation criteria. Information regarding abstracting and indexing coverage will be updated on the journal website once inclusion is formally confirmed.
Article Processing Charges (APCs): The Journal of Novel Research does not charge any submission fees. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of INR 4,500 (or USD 50) applies to accepted manuscripts to support editorial operations and open-access publishing. All articles submitted on or before 31 March 2026 will be published without any APC. The APC, where applicable, is charged only after editorial acceptance and has no influence on editorial decision-making.
Academic Events and Special Issues: The journal may collaborate with academic institutions, conferences, and research networks to publish special issues, thematic sections, or selected conference papers that meet the journal’s editorial standards and peer-review requirements. Information regarding such academic events and calls for papers will be announced on the journal website.
Submission Guidelines: All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts align with the journal’s aims and scope and comply with ethical and scholarly standards. Authors must register on the journal website and select the Author role in order to submit manuscripts. Submissions sent via email will not be considered.
Preparing Your Manuscript: Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English and organized in a logical and coherent manner following journal requirments. Empirical studies should normally include an abstract, keywords, an introduction, methodology, results or analysis, discussion, and references. Review and conceptual papers should adopt structures appropriate to their scholarly objectives. To support the double-blind peer review process, manuscripts submitted for review must be anonymized. Authors are responsible for accurate citation, proper referencing, and consistency in format.
Supporting Information: Authors may submit supplementary materials such as datasets, appendices, research instruments, or additional analyses that support the main manuscript. All supporting information should be clearly labelled and appropriately referenced in the main text. The decision to publish supplementary materials rests with the editorial team.
Editorial and Peer Review Process: All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening to assess relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, and basic methodological adequacy. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected at this stage. Submissions that pass the initial screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process conducted by independent reviewers with relevant subject and methodological expertise. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly quality, originality, methodological rigor, and clarity of presentation.
Open Access Policy: The Journal of Novel Research provides immediate open access to all published content. This ensures that research is freely available to readers worldwide without subscription or access barriers, supporting the broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge.
Copyright and Licensing: Authors retain copyright of their published work and grant the Journal of Novel Research the first publication. Published articles may be used, shared, and reproduced with appropriate attribution to the authors and the journal. Specific licensing details are provided on the journal website.
Publication Ethics: The Journal of Novel Research is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. Authors are expected to ensure originality, accuracy, appropriate acknowledgement of sources, and ethical conduct of research. Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and other unethical practices are not tolerated. The journal follows established procedures for handling corrections, retractions, and allegations of misconduct in a transparent, fair, and responsible manner.
